Welcome, to my new subscribers, nice to meet you all!
We are already in August, time flies doesn't it. Summer time is here and indeed the holidays are in full swing. We are not going anywhere at this time of the year but of course if you are depending on schools, colleges,etc., having children, then this is the time to go out and about. Especially after lockdown you deserve some days out and visit some nice places, meet up with your friends and family.
With our fairs at Cromford Mill, Derbyshire, we meet a lot of tourists, they visit the area all year round. It is a beautiful area, and great for hiking, cycling and biking of course. There are a lot of
B & B's, lodges to rent and campsites. Most places to visit are dog friendly. Also at Cromford Mill your dog is most welcome! Go to www.cromfordmills.org.uk to find out a little more.
Twice a month you can find me in the marquee with my stall, the first Sunday of the month with the Bazaar and the 3rd Sunday at the Artisan Market. Both days from 10 am till 4 pm. Next Artisan Market is Sunday the 15th of August! Lots of stalls with beautiful handmade products, ceramics, textiles, bags, Jewellery handmade by me, beautiful sterling and Tribe silver necklaces, bracelets, earrings also in combination with semi-precious stones, Vegan leather and suede sensory bracelets and of course Lava jewellery for him and for her!, cards, wooden items, food stalls, Amazing and artistic retro copper pipe lamps and Magnetic 'T' light holders etc.
We are now as well applying for Christmas Fairs, yes it sounds far away but before you know it, it's that time of the year. And let's be honest, it is great that we can do that all again, to make some future plans.
In September I will visit again a gemstone fair and I am very excited, cannot wait, because we could not do that for 18 months. Look forward to see and especially to feel the stones, that is so important with my work, and to find 'the treasures', that's what I call them. Just those special stones with their beautiful characteristics.
Next step will be, to be able to travel to Thailand, that is also so important to go there and to find those beautiful treasures in Tribe silver. Fingers crossed that we are able to do that again in the near future.
