Hello lovely people,
Yes, the time is finally here to prepare for the Christmas festivities! Also we need to think about what we like to eat on Christmas day, looking for tasteful recipes, watching nice cookery programs, I love that.
And of course when to buy the Christmas tree. This weekend I saw in several places the trees for sale. I have to say I love the smell of a real tree in the house, it gives just that extra atmosphere. Since a few years we 'rent' a tree, which is a great idea I think.
This brings me to our Christmas markets, we are indeed very busy since several weeks to prepare for the markets. It's not only designing and creating more pieces of jewellery but also thinking of the presentation, the packaging etc.
Also since October sending the ordered presents by post to customers, luckily no disruptions by strikes until now, fingers crossed it stays like this.
Our markets are this year concentrated on Cromford Mills, Matlock/ DE4 3RQ.
Starting:
Saturday 3rd December & Sunday the 4th from 10 am till 4 pm.
Saturday 10th December & Sunday the 11th from 10 am till 4 pm.
Saturday 17th December & Sunday the 18th from 10 am till 4 pm.
There will be a great variety of stalls in the marquee and also some stalls outside, Cromford MiIlls is organising as well other activities during those Christmas weekends e.g.,on the 3rd of December a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop, live music, a choir, a Christmas tree festival and of course Santa is coming on 10th-11th and 17th-18th December!
