Wow, it's unbelievable that we are heading towards Christmas, where has the time gone.
Halloween is over, that means it is time to prepare for Christmas! Wintertime is here, shorter days and cosy evenings, that's what we will have for the next few months.
To be honest, I am not such a winter person, I love Spring and Summer, also I feel better with the longer days. But....on the other hand it is so cosy to sit next to the fire place, if you have one, lots of candle lights, some good music, maybe a nice movie, glass of wine and some good food. That gives a very special atmosphere, love that part of the winter!
So talking about Christmas, we are preparing already for a while for our Christmas Markets, I cannot wait, it's always such a fun and an exciting time of the year.
Earlier this year I mentioned that we were signing up for several fairs.
The first one we will attend is Sunday 28th November at the Staunton Arms Pub in Staunton-in-the-Vale, NG13 9PE, http://www.stauntonarms.co.uk
Organised by Tamily Cookson Events, https://www.tamilycooksonevents.com, a heated marquee is erected with 20 traders, minced pies, carol singers and of course a visit from Santa. So bring your children and have a browse. Open at 11am till 4pm.
The following 3 weekends, Saturdays and Sundays we will be at Cromford Mills, Matlock, DE4 3RQ, https://www.cromfordmills.org.uk
Dates are: 4 & 5 December, 11 & 12 December, 18 & 19 December.
Open at 11 am till 5pm.
You will find me with my Jewellery as usual in the marquee together with 20 other stall holders, Amazing Retro copper pipe lamps and candle holders by Creative Interiors from Peter Venning (my husband 😉) https://www.creativeinteriors1989.com , cushion covers, patchwork , handmade Christmas decorations and cards, perfume, bags, more jewellery, ceramics, wooden handmade items, etc. Too much to mention it all. Besides the marquee there are winter warmers, Christmas trees, music, Santa of course and much more! Again a great place to visit with your family and friends.
